I have a 2.0 4cylinder Jetta and I need to replace the fusebox on it. I am offered a good one from a 6 cylinder jetta of the same year. Is it the same thing? Will it work? the person selling is saying it is but I dont want to take chances. If anyone know I would appreciate it if you can help. thank you.

Just talked to my parts guy and he said the interior and under the hood fuse boxes are the same. The price for the interior was $377. Hope you do better than that!

I changed the fuse box, it is a really good one. But the problem is still the same. The way the problem started is one of my oil pressure sensors was bad and I changed it but I did not know that there is two different ones, one black one and one white one. So I changed one that is leaking but I did not know the difference so I changed the black one to a white one and so there where two white ones. Ever since that now even without the key in there is power flowing to the speedometer and the oil light is on and the check engine and one more. Then after I take out the key the car is still running but there is no power to like the lights or cd player or anything else. If anyone has a clue about what might have happened when I put in these sensors of the same type that would be really helpful.

Could be a simple ignition switch.

I tried unplugging it and the car still is running. And I changed it about 6 months ago.

Man the rain started here and the car is acting stupid. like when starting it, like the starter is working, the rpms jump to like 8 thousand and down to 0 back and forth. the speedometer also, and the car does not start. and there is a clicking noise from the relay 167. It is weird. Never happened like that. the fusebox is changed. the relay is a good one. I even have two of them and chaning it still makes it do the samething. So how this all happened is that I changed the oil pressure sensor and it was the wrong one. like there is a white one on the bottom and a black one on top. but I put two white ones because that is what they gave me at shucks and I did not know that there is two of them. WHat could that possible do to the electronics? So now I dont know if I will be able to start my car to drive it to the electrician. anyone has any advise.
