My 96' cutlass supreme with 3.1L engine has a very annoying engine knock/click. I'd say it's more of a loud clicking sound.
It is very loud when starting cold (first start of day) and as the engine warms up it gets quieter, but doesn't completely go away.
While driving it becomes louder and you can hear it when you press on the gas pedal, and when you let off the gas it dies down but a person can still kinda hear it.
Here is a video of the engine idling

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I know you probably won't be able to diagnose it over the web, but any ideas/tests would be awesome.
Thanks

Welll the ticking I would say is your lifters.
Some of those other noises are a bit more concerning to me though.
Kinda sounded like it had an exhaust leak and maybe even a rod knocking.... :dunno:
I'd try some engine treatment that goes into your oil to clean lifters and oil passages.
I like Seafoam injector cleaner/oil stabiliser. Only take 2-3 onces in your oil, should clean thing pretty good.
Does thin your oil though, so a oil change after you've driven it a little wouldnt hurt. Then you can add a couple onces to the clean oil to clean more varnish from the lifters.
If it doesnt clear up, could also be a bad lifter. These lifters are very noisey to begin with when cold IMO.
