2003 ZX3...changing alternator

My alternator is dead. My husband is going to try and change it this weekend. Any tips or tricks that we should know? Is there a best way to reach it for replacement?

Welcome to AF!
The only problem he will meet is getting enough room to get it out of the engine. The rear lower engine mount and the upper passenger engine mount must be loosened and the engine moved forward with a big pry bar to get it out. It gives just enough space. It's a poor design by Ford but nets the dealer $600 + to do the job.
