Will be any Reventon kit released soon?

Doubtful. Fujimi already has Murcielago kits, and the Revention has too many changes. It would require essentially a whole new tooling.

or LP670-4 SV?

or LP670-4 SV?
That wouldn't require many changes, and is therefore doable. I wouldn't mind seeing an a regular ol' LP 640. I think the design changes are a subtle improvement on the stock murcie.

If you're not a scale bigot, you can get a 1/43 Academy kit of the Reventon.
I've not found a source here in the US for this kit yet as I too would like to get one, but doubt will ever see a 24th scale version.
I've only seen the Academy kit on ebay from an Asian seller.

Mondo Motors makes a very nice 1/24 Reventon, and Burago makes a half-assed Reventon.
Get the Mondo. I think you can get them as kits in some markets. I doubt Fujimi is going to bother with it.

Worst thread title ever!!!
In my opinion, not any worse than modern Georgia State Police decals (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=965092) or Audi R8 GT3 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=919219).

Aw man:( haha...sorry fellas. Just been having a rough week with the squirrel army marching in my attic every night. I meant that it is a misleading thread title. I was hopeful when I saw that. Then the hope left when I opened the thread to only find Bob telling us about the half assed diecast options.
At least those 2 threads led to usefull information. I found out the decals I needed were actually available and the resin R8 kit was ridiculously expensive. This thread is all about speculation.
I'm with BVC500 tho, we have a better change with a modified Murci kit than a whole new tool. But who knows. Good luck to all who wish for their dream kit. No hard feelings people. We all have opinions.

I doubt that Fujimi will release the LP 640 kit, the SV just recently released is the last of the Murcielago line, so if Fujimi was going to release an LP640 kit is should have been when the LP640 came out 2 years ago. saying that maybe in a few years theyll re-release the Murci & maybe even tool up the LP640 changes. Dont get me wrong Id love an LP640 or LP670SV and have considered modifying one myself, im a little surprized that there isnt an aftermarket transkit (Cough, maybe thats a great idea for Scale Auto Style or Tuned by Twenty, Cough). Mike zibit re-completed a Revention, i think its in the Completed models section, cant remember what kit he used.
Next Question is, will Fujimi decide to do a Black version of their latest SL55 AMG?

The Mondo one is better, but the suprising thing is that the diecasts have more accurate detail than most of the Fujimi kits. The big drawback is the body is metal. I have several of the new Mondo and Maistro diecasts and dont even think I would buy a Fujimi kit of the cars if they made them(judging by past experience), the diecast are that nice!

The Mondo one is better, ....
I did not get your point. Mondo is better than what? Fujimi (as I understood) or than the RC body shell I was thinking of swapping it?
Mondo or whatever Die Cast has a major drawback, that is, it is made out of metal. There is limited space for building. It is true that most of the modern plastics kits are as simple as die casts. But metal seems to be a curse in my eyes that will keep me away (unless there there is no alternatiive).

The Mondo Reventon is the best 1/24 Reventon...period. Right out of the box it's a really nice model. It's so light it might not be diecast and it might actually be plastic, I don't know for sure. Any good modeler could deal with it, considering it's a great start and considering Fujimi seems uninterested in it. I've compared the Mondo vs. the Burago (Veyron has both)...it's clear which one is better. If you want a good challenge you can do whatever you want with whatever model. We're just trying to tell you from real world experience what the best 1/24 Reventon on the market is. How you use that information is entirely up to you. The honest truth is the Mondo Reventon looks as good as (or better than) an average built up Fujimi kit. Do you want a Reventon model, or do you want to model a Reventon?
