Just to get an idea of who thinks what, Which non-commercial pickup truck is the best all around truck and why? Dodge Ram, Dakota, Ford, etc...

Please give examples and don't just shout opinions.

Thanks :sunglasse

Tough to nail down, it depends what you use it for. There's pickups that tow 3,000 lbs and some that tow 23,000 lbs, crew cabs, short boxes, big, small, whatever. For a full-size I'm partial to the new Ram. It looks awesome, the 5.7L Hemi is trusted and true and offers a good balance of mileage, towing and reliability. The payload isn't as high because of the coil spring rear suspension, but the ride and handling are much better, and Dodge's new interior one of the best in the business. For a smaller truck I'd pick up a new Nissan Frontier with the Nismo off-road pack. Looks mean, goes anywhere, and can still tow a decent trailer.

Dodge Ram cummins Turbo diesel FTW!

my dad had a 2001 2500, chiped it. ran over 600hp
thing was a beast. Out ran a Mustang GT (lol) guy was a shitty driver but still.

The Dakota kinda sucks though :(

I think Ford pickup truck is best. Because it is common household in American homes.

I can't say. Kinda partial to both the Ford and Chevy models myself. It would have to be which one has the best performance, fuel economy and reliability.
Right now, I don't know that yet. They seem to even each other out.
