Water Manifold off Pump

Is there a replacement pipe for that manifold looking thing off the back side of the water pump on the 1.0? I can't find anything on it. I have a leak right where it connects to the water pump. I just bought a "beater" '91 with 255K. Not too bad of shape if you can look through the gunk. It started anyways. Got it for about nothing.

That coolant pipe has an O-ring on the end where it inserts into the back of the pump housing. There are 2 bolts that hold the pipe on. One on the trans side cover and one under the intake manifold.

Thanks man!!! That helped. But then one more question, where would I look for the pipe in a manual or online to order one if it beyond repair?

You would have to find one at a junkyard. Or maybe contact this guy............

Their is a rubber "O" ring that seals the extention pipe to the water pump. You can repair it yourself in about an hour. This setup is kind of cheeseee but it works.

p.s. Everyone should pick up a copy of Car and Driver July, 2009. Beginning on page 44 "Mileage Maestros" they compare the Honda Insight & Toyota Prius to a 98 Chevy Metro 3 banger. The mileage master wins again. Show the article to everyone, it's a hoot.

I skimmed their site, but didn't find anything on it. I'm sure they don't let ya see everything for free. Or, is there a link with some of the write up on it?
