I have an 2003 escalade esv that I need to rebuild the front dirrerential and I was wondering if anyone had a step by step instructions?

You will need a FSM for this and some special tools, or a subscription to alldata.com

Do not even bother,the axle stubs will never come out since GM put in horrible clips holding them in.I have tried beating them out and even a slide hammer.

They have to come out if a dealership can do it. I just can't see spending over 900 to have a dealer do it.

I have tried getting the axle stub out of the driver's side,one out of a GMC truck which the carrier bearings were toast.The driver's side axle stub would not budge at all smacking it out with a hammer and using the slide hammer.Ended up getting an used front differantal.

I was able to get the axle shafts out and rebuild it last weekend.
