Tamiya Porsche Boxster

This is a model that I had in my mind to do from the date it was issued about 10 years ago and me, being almost a Porsche model mar builder knew that I was missed this one from my chain. Another thing made me to build this one was that this is first Tamiya model since year 2001. I remember I was finishing the GT-3 the same day of the 9/11 in NY. From that date I was feeling kind of weird, because, almost everyone here and in the model cars community build a Tamiya from time to time. For this one I used Gunze Sangyo's Cobalt Blue toped with Modeler's Super Clear. I'm so sorry this clear is now Out of Production from what I heard. Anyone that has better info, please, tell me I'm wrong..please! The exhaust system was weathered with pastels.

So,..here's my OOB boxster!

Thanks for your comments. I guess I did the correct thing, imagine to strip off all this beautifull paint job just because of that..I don't think so:runaround:

It was hard, but, after sometime I can breath again and stop to have nightmares:crying:

Sometimes its just better to finish off a model rather than put it away in a box forever. Im digging the paint choice, and nice details. I love using pastels also!!

That looks super sharp! I`ve never seen one in that color, but I love it! I also like the interior color choices. :)
