ECM help.....please

i have a stock 93 cx hatch w/d15b8
i have obtained a complete d16z6 head and intake
i want the get the most out of this swap so my qusetion is about which pcm to use. i looked up the part number on my original pcm and it is a p28 pcm (does this sound right with a 8v engine)
anyway, my question is : can i chip this pcm and run the same program as the si (or an aftermarket chip), and can i run the vtec off the ecm if i do this??

as far as i know the p28 ecu is a the z6 ecu, so if u put a z6 head and intake on, it will run fine.

i mean i dont know if the p28 comes stock in your motor too, but i know the z6 uses the p28 ecu.

as far as chipping it, well i dont know about that stuff

ok, i didnt look on the pcm for the part number. i looked in a parts info. database, the pcm in the car is a p06. so now i am on the hunt for a p28.. ANYONE??? with the p28 i plan on a aftermarket chip, but what dist. do i use and do i need an adapter harness for any reason????

use the z6 dist. as far as wiring, i think u only gotta just add wires for vtec adn thats it, but idk how much wires u gotta add for vtec

but i would like to note that, i do not own a obd 1 car, or have i ever done this swap, so this is more of an educated guess

will the cx harness plug into the z6 dist?
