Hi all,
My 91 corolla was working great but the neutral safety switch is absolutely dead. I know it is underneath by the transmission but its like $350 to replace.
Does anyone know if it can be bypassed if so please share.
Thanks in advance

A new part from Rock Auto lists for $159. I'd suggest checking the salvage yards for used ones.
I wouldn't condone bypassing the switch since it is a safety issue but if it is a simple two-wire switch it is either closed (my guess) or open in Park or Neutral positions and it could be done in an emergency until you can get a replacement part. I'll stress that this isn't a fix, only a stop-gap solution until it can be properly repaired.
