98 and 2000 Keyless / Security Interchange

Can the Keyless remote / security system from a 2000 LE be moved over to a 98 CE? My son totaled his 2000 and I got him a replacement 98 and it does not have keyless entry or security system installed. I am willing to swap it out of the 2000 if it can be done.

I have allready installed the Inside Rear View with the compass without alot of fuss. So I thought that the Security system might be as simple if you know what to do.
