2001 Blazer won't start

Hi,
I have a 2001 Blazer that cranks fine, but won't start. Last year, it did the same thing. Tested the fuel pressure and it was low, replaced fuel pump and was fine for 4 months, then.... no start again. Checked pressure, low, changed pump again. Then now, 6 months later, no start so I got rid of the Airtex junk and replaced the pump with a Delco. It would start with the hard starts prior to no start at all, everytime. Well, the new pump didn't fix the problem this time. I have 61 psi fuel pressure while starting, and it drops to 56 psi when not starting. It bleeds pressure about 1 psi per minute. I have in the past, 6 months ago, taken off the plentum, cleaned the injectors, replaced the fuel pressure regulator. The MAF sensor was replaced also. Spark is good and strong. So, I have pressure at the fuel rail and good spark... BUT no spark. When I pull a plug it is gas fouled, but sparks good. I would think if an injector was leaking or the spider, it would still fire over, just not run good. Car was running strong until it wouldn't start one day. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator even though I just replaced it. With fuel on the plug, I would think the injectors are firing. One thing: prior to replacing the pump for the delco (this last time), it would gurgle after letting the ignition try to start, then a little white smoke out the exhaust that smelled like fuel. I figure it was not getting enough fuel pressure, hence the excess fuel burn off. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks all!

The vortec 4.3s do have problems with distribitor caps, eat them and get an AC Delco cap.The aftermarkets are junk and do not last.

Always check for good hot blue spark at all spark plugs.
