I have a '97 LaSabre with the big "sweep" speedo. What is the part number for this speedo. I just got a speedo from a famous auction site that stated "w/o gauges" Thought I was set but got a speedo with tach and gauges. They claimed "97 Lesabre (without gauges, ID# 16219454, WA2". Sounded like the right part to me.
What is the correct part number for the speedometer cluster WITHOUT gauges? And I guess for those that have the tach....what is the part number for the speedometer cluster with gauges?
Those answers should help a lot of people....at least the ones that search like I do!
Also, crossing years would help.
Thanks,
KennyC

1997 Buick Lesabre speedometer with tach #'s- 16219474, new # 9364914. I have been told new is no longer available. Have a 1997 Buick Lesabre Limited,50,000 miles. The speedometer hangs up at about 50mph. Some times jumps around then to 65mph. Any suggestions on fixing? Looking at buying gps and using it istead of speedometer. tia jps

Thanks for responding jps. I have the 9364914 with 94k on it if you're interested. It's untried, of course. So, I'm assuming that part number "16219454, WA2" is correct for my speedo w/o guages. Is that the only part number that will work with 1997 LeSabre?
This is for my girl's car and we tried the gps thing. Personally, I don't like them sitting on the dash, which is the only place we found to mount it for speedo use. Plus it's a PITA to take your speedometer in and out of the car all the time! Good for trips though...
I decided that I'm just going to replace the cluster.
