Ok Guys
Here's the deal, I have read all the horror story's about the strut issues.
I am a new owner of an 05 GTO and not knowing what if anything previous owner did about the problems I am not sure where to start. If I find issues what are the recommended correctios ie; struts, bushings ext. Is there more to it than just struts? What manufactures offer replacement parts and can these issues be fixed once and for all or is it something we have to live with.I do have a rather large clunk in rt. frt and also in the rear when I hit the slightest of bumps.
I had a dealer tell me that people have resorted to changing all front
componants ie, struts, upper and lower control arms along with all bushings.
This sounds like a little overkill but what do I know. Please someone lead me in the right direction any and all help is very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Gino

Go to urethane bushing and strut mounts on the upper end and that will reolve the issue. If you go to LS1 dot com and review the installation of new bushing posting you'll find the new specification for alignment as well.
