RBS/BRAKE lights

I have a 1997 rodeo that the Rw/abs And Brake dash lights comes on at times and stays on. Maybe next time I start the truck the light will not be on. Seems to happen more when its raining or roadway is wet. Any ideas ?

The ABS speed sensor is on the rear axle on the top in the middle. Check the connector for water contamination.

I've had the same issue for many miles and several years. Frustrating and I've gotten tired of trying to fix it. Checked the wiring. Cleaned and sealed the connector on top of the pumpkin. The only thing I haven't done is the ABS module under the driver's seat.

Well checked the pumpkin and found some water I sealed the connection. Rained last night and came back on. Off again this morning. Ill do some other checks next weekend

Ok ~throws in the towel~ cant keep the light off And now the brake lite is also on when the rbs is lit But running and stopping with no problems

I did the rear speed sensor and it went away long enough to pass inspection. It did come back though. Other people have stated they replaced the wiring between the sensor and the PCM and that solved the problem.
