Nut size????

Anybody know what size wratchet head I should use to remove the axle nut that is on the rear wheel. I guess it holds on the hub assembly. I am trying to change my drum brake shoes and it seems to be allot easier with this piece removed. I have to buy a head. that's why i am asking.

No, that's not how it's done. It's a standard drum brake, you just remove the shoes and replace them

If you remove that nut u will upset the bearing preload or torque and have more issues.

Oh, OK. I thought that's how it was done. So I should leave it on there and work around it , right?
