B16 bottom end with B18 non vtec head?????

hey my brother blew the bottom end out of his 95 integra. i know the heads good still and he dosnt have much money to spend and i found a cheap b16 short block for $100 i was wondering if i could put the b18b1 head on it? yes u heard me right so its a non vtec b16? can this be done?

awesome question. wondered myself and came to the conclusion that it would. i think you would just have to plug the block, oil passage, instead of the head oil passage like you would on ls vtec head
