stalling after replacing fuel pump

2000 Chevy S10 would not start, replaced fuel pump,now it shuts off after driving several miles. When it cools down it will start and does same thing again. Any similar problems???

Is the replacement pump an aftermarket made by Airtex or Carter?Aftermarket fuel pumps are junk and fail a lot.If this is the case,take it back getting your money back and buy a Delphi pump instead which lasts longer.
