I have a '98 conti that makes a squeaking noise whenever I turn the wheel. It sounds like it's coming from underneath, but I can't find where exactly. I can't find any grease zerks and it looks like everything is sealed. I'm wondering if there is an easy fix without taking apart the whole steering assembly. Has anybody had a similar problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

As of a couple of weeks ago, mine was doing this too. They replaced the tie rod on the passenger side and it went away.

Also check your tower strut bushing and bearing. That's where the your MacPherson strut mounts to the chassis - Check under you hood on the right and left sides.
