KYB GR2 is a stock style strut. There is nothing special about it.

If its just stock struts and springs then it doesn't even lower it. GR2's are stock.

The springs wouldnt be but the struts would... ok so what about upgrading... which is better as far as ride n preformence.. i know you may have to sacrifice one for the other sometimes.... coil overs or struts n springs? and what brands.. Eibach? Tein?
And how about tie rods?

Obviously I am a fan of true coilovers. My ride is ride better with my coilovers on hardest setting than a VR4 with ECS struts and Intrax.

No, I am saying I have ridden in a car with ECS struts and Intrax springs and my car with Megan Racing coilovers has a smoother ride.

Oh ok I understand you now.... I got the money but I have other stuff I need done to haha... I'm looking at Moog tie rods and i should really do brakes all the way around just to get it out of the way... Is Stillen good for brakes? also steel braided lines I'm looking at plus I was advised to just buy lower control arms instead of dealing with pressing the ball joint in and out?

Pressing balljoints in and out is less than an hour job with the right tool. You can rent it for free basically. At Advance you pay the price of the tool (~$200) and upon return of the tool you get a full refund.
Ball joints are like $20 each. So $40 for two ball joints, or $500+ for lower control arms.
You make the call. ;)

Seriously NOT a pain in the ass. With the ball joint tool its literally a 30 minute job per side.

well whats the car gonna be used for? for most people just buying new ball joints will be more then suffeceint. i got mine at orielys and even without a special tool its still a hour job. lead pipe, hammer, mexican...boom ball joints r done. part number at orielys and advance is k9855 if im not mistaken. its a moog ball joint listed for a hyundai something, its the exact same part. i say just do the ball joint.s bro.

There are no such thing as upgraded ball joints. You can't buy just ball joints from the factory either. Go anywhere and ask for a ball joint for a 3s and they will tell you they have to sell you a whole control arm.
Control arm is $500. You can buy the 2 Moog ball joints, spend an hour installing them and be good as new.
And the ball joint tool I am talking about looks like this http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=38335
Never, I repeat, NEVER use those forks to seperate ball joints. All you have to do to get a ball joint free the steering knuckle is smack the steering knuckle itself with a large hammer. Three to five good whacks and the ball joint/control arm will drop free of the steering knuckle and allow you to change the ball joint.
