Mustang turning noise

Hello, I have a 98 mustang 3.8 with 65k. Recently when turning into a parking spot, drive, etc, it is making a clunking noise. It comes from the passanger side. what should I look at first?

check the strut mounts, also jack up the front end and shake it down for loose parts

You might check to make sure that the bolts holding your steering rack on are tight, too. Sometimes they "pop" when just a little bit loose. Also, as noted before, check for loose parts - outer tie rod ends, ball joint, etc.
