Hello.
I am about to overhaul my A/C by replacing my leaky compressor and the accumulator. I want to flush out the condenser and evaporator but have heard there are certain types of condensers which can not be flushed.
Can anyone confirm whether the condenser on a 95 Lumina 3.1L can be flushed?
Can the flush be performed w/ the orifice tube installed or must it be removed?
I have also heard the threads tend to strip when removing the nut after the condenser to replace the orifice tube, which results in having to buy a new condenser.
Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid stripping the threads during disassembly or is this usually not a problem?
Thanks.
