Oil in Air Breather

I have a 94 2.5 litre shadow. In April of this year I replaced the head with a brand new one not a rebuilt. The car has been fine up until a couple of weeks ago when it started to run like a mac truck. Upon investigation I find there is oil in the air breather. The PCV value is good. What could be causing this?
