2002 sunfire Delco Removal

Apparently there is a security cable that seems to need to remain connected to the old delco stereo... I have replaced this delco stereo with a sony cd player...

I would like to disconnect this delco stereo rid of it... However this stereo seems to offer some type of security to the vehicle...
