I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana. I need to know if there are any tricks or tips on removing and replacing the EGR valve. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Acquire a new one.
Disconnect the electrical connector to the valve.
Remove the EGR mounting bolts (2), remove the valve and gaskets. Discard the gaskets.
Use a scraper and clean the valve gasket surfaces.
Installation is the reverse.
