just a question. My sister-inlaw had a metal to metal sound. I new it was the breaks. she took it to Kia for service. They told her it was the breaks and that the rotors needed to be refinished. i was sitting there when she was talking to them. so i said that they needed to be turned. The guy told her no they needed to be refinished. she asked what the difference was. he never did answer her. he just told her it would cost 300.00 to do the break work. [B]So my question is What is the difference in being refinished and turned?B] thanks for any help.

Just a difference in terminology, that's about it!! The price sounds about right.

Sincerely,
Matt
