Hazards Shut Off....

My 01 blazer had an issue with the heater core awhile back. I took it to the shop and they flushed it out for me and it works fine...unfortunatly when they put the steering column back together they did not put the hazard switch on. This is not something I noticed till yesterday when I get pulled over for my trailer lights not working....well I have to switch on my hazards to see if the lights work that way....they do but now...they won't shut off...how do I shut off the hazards without the switch? I tried to just pull the fuse but then the turn signals down work. Any ideas?
