1993 chevy astro van ,vin # Z with approx 130k miles, have replaced the fuel pump, fuel relay , both the ecm1 and ecmb fuses, replaced the wiring on the fuel pump assembly, then tested the orange wire running to the fuel relay and it has power.but still cant get fuel pump to come on, jumped from the battery to the gray wire going from fuel relay to the pump and the pump works. can get current thru all wires on relay except the green and white one. book says it runs to the fuel relay control. can someone please shed some light on what my problem might be as to the cause of why my fuel pump doesnt work

Does the smaller black wire at the pump relay have a good ground?

:banghead: replaced ground terminal where grounded to frame so ground is good.tried running wire from from empty slot on fuse panel to the gray wire running to fuel pump, now pump activates when key is turned on or motor is running... but when motor is stoped for a few mins it fails to restart ,so there must still be a bug somewhere

did you check the actual voltage of the power wire going to the relay with multimeter? i had a similar problem where i was only getting 1.86 volts to the under hood fuse box from the pink wire feeding the ecm fuses.

i just ran a new wire from the ignition switch because i couldn't get to where the high resistance area was without taking the entire dash out.
