Ok, so I'm having alot of trouble even getting to the power steering pump. Hell I think i took something apart that I shouldn't have haha. And theres a shot of the linkage connecting from the shifter to the transmission cause its a 5 speed.

This is not something I am looking to buy. But is this basically how it should come unbolted from the engine minus the hoses still connected after being seperated?

The coolant coming out and the thermostat should be your first clue your not taking apart the Power steering system!

no no no. This is my 93 sentra. Engine is coming out. This is prolly the 8th video with questions. I'm just having trouble getting to it can't figure out what other bolts or anything else I haven't takken off to get the power steering pump seperate from the engine. Everything else is off the engine aside from the shift linkage.

Yes, that is what the pump should look like on your Sentra.

so the power steering pump is an entire bracket. that thermostate, thats not attached to the power steering pump? hmmm. question. when I took that apart fluid came out. im assuming it was water and antifreeze correct? and the shift linkage has a simple pin to remove? The picture wasn't too clear and really dark sorry.

What you took apart was the thermostat housing, and what came out would have been water and antifreeze.
No harm done :)
The pump will be on a bracket bolted to the block.
It will look just like the one in the ebay adds.
Not totally sure about the shift linkage, but that would be my best guess.
If you can get right under the car with a torch, you should be able to see whats holding it together.

Yes, yes, yes!
Most likely the bolts that are holding the pump in are accessible through the holes in the pump pulley. The large bolt you where pointing to is the banjo bolt that secures the high pressure hose to the pump. keep track of the copper washers on either side of that fitting when you remove the bolt, they are used to seal the fitting to the pump. It might be a little easier to do from the bottom side. Since most of the car is torn apart it should be fairly easy to lower the passenger side of the engine to gain a little more access to the pump.

so it would be best to unbolt it and tie it to the side rather than disconnect the hoses correct?

Normally thats is how it is done. Its a lot less messy for sure to leave the hoses connected and let it hang. At this point since you're having so much trouble removing it it might make sense to remove the hoses and leave it attached to the engine. Once the engine is out you will be able to see how it mounts and will have an easier time reinstalling it on the new(er) motor you plan on installing.

I'm just going to put the same motor in it. Not changing anything. If I take the hoses apart, do I need to bleed the power steering system?

It will bleed itself as it runs. Just fill up the res. before you start the engine and top off as necessary.
