2002 dodge ram 2500 auto tranny problem

truck starts but dies and shuts off while being put into gear. went through a wash puddle, drove onto a scale empty and shut it off. When restarted np, but when put into gear it just shut off, numerous times? any ideas? thanks

Sounds to me like the TCC is stuck on killing the engine

Hey,
We reset the engine light with a computer and the truck started and ran fine
in all gears. Tranny is now slipping a little which it wasn't doing before....

New Question, since being a newbie here, what is a TCC?
