paint and polishing

zup people! i got a problem on polishing my white evo 6.

the problem is after i painted it with white and covering it by clear.
then i let i completely dry for about 1 week, when i started sanding my model with 2500 sand paper and polish it by "car wax" (3M liquid wax), the white undercoat become slightly off white not that pure white before!

does car wax have some chemical on it?
or the clear?

what should i do?:banghead:
