i want to get a B16a1 for my hatch how mcuh would it cost around is 1050us good? and is there ne thing better whats the ZC vtec is that better or what?

Ohh, its from Osaka. Their not bad people or anything but the best way I can think of describing them is REALLY shady. It really definitely is a good price though. They wont even do a compression or leakdown test in front of you though. If you wanna take your chances though then good luck :)

actually, just to clarify, if you order an engine from japan, it will be labeled as "B16A" since JDM engines have no suffix. If your engine is labeled as "B16A1" it is probably not from japan.

Oh yea, also chances are that the "Engine Wiring Harness All required Cables" will be all hacked up and worthless along with a sensor or two. I was walking around in there and a good percentage of them were. Im not trying to say dont do it but I just wanna give you a heads up is all.

People will argue about that forever but I think most people agree that the B16A is better. Also, make sure you really take a good look at the one you plan on buying. Dont let them rush you, that was my mistake, I think they just wanted to go home though.

its 1050 is US funds?

i know osaka is in quebec, but how much is it in CDN funds?

the zc never came vtec. it came sohc and dohc only.

if anything go 9psi turbo zc :D

Theres no such thing is b16a1;)

b16 seems better to me. more horsepower, vtec, dohc.. i know everyone will argue that zc can potentially be better...

The ZCG is vtec but only makes 152 hp... ;)

the only VTEC ZC i've ever heard of is the USDM equivelent of d16z6.. 1.6L SOHC VTEC.
