need help with coolant leak. see pic

97 gt 3.8. Can someone please tell me why my grand prix is leaking coolant from this hole?

it looks like the leak is from higher up.where you point looks to be a cross frame member.is this correct?? if so start looking from above

Yeah, check your lower radiator hose, your water pump, and your belt tensioner elbows.

I checked everything from up top and found nothing. everything around the water pump is dry. Must be something under the pump that i cant see. The leak started slow, now coolant leaks out a steady stream as fast as i pour it in the radiator.

sounds like a heater hose (belt tensioner) elbow to me.

I agree with tblake, that looks like the spot where the coolant collects from a leaking plastic elbow that runs from the lower intake to the belt tensioner, or it could be the o-ring on the bottom of the tensioner where it goes through the timing cover if you don't see any indication of a leak up top near the plastic elbow.
