Drum brake question - ASAP Please!

Hey guys, popped a rear steel line in the rear - one of the ones that run from the splitter over the diff. Had to cut the line to get it off. Since I'm in there I decided time to do the brakes. Everything was rusted to hell so it was definitely needed. The brakes themselves are no problem, what I need to know is do I have to bleed both sides after installing the new break line? I ask cause I was testing the bleeder on the undamaged side and it done sheered right off. If I have to bleed it I'd have to replace the wheel cylinder. What chance did air get in the "good" side? BTW the master cylinder never went dry and neither did the rear lines.

if the repair was after the split you might,but you'd be dam lucky.if its a wheel cylinder just replace it cost is'nt bad.

not worried about the cost - I have the cylinder in fact. I'm worried that I'll screw up the good brake line taking it out.

As rusted as the other side was I would use a line wrench if it don't want to come out cut it and use a deep six point socket and remove both ends.
You can purchase new sections at a parts store. Soak with PB Blaster the night before. If your a mud runner buy new wire wrapped sections at the dealer or get good used ones at a junk yard off a newer Ranger.
They can be bleed by moving the outer rubber and use your finger and turn the seal top inward. When the air is out move level. When I lived in Ohio where they use salt some mechanics did this. I moved to the Atlanta area and this isn't a problem.
