'04 Catalytic converter

The service engine light is on and the computer is throwing codes 420 and 430 saying the front catalytic converters are bad. Is there a way to override the sensors for now so the light doesn't stay on until I get it fixed (not cheap!)? The codes were cleared but the light came back on a several miles later...

If warrenty is expired on your car, the catalytic coverters might still be covered under emmission laws.
