The power cord for the LS that is usually hidden in the wheel well is missing on mine. We get -40 temps here and if anyone has one they don't need or knows where they are still available please help.

Will pay for it and shipping.

Welcome to the forum!

I've never seen one of these, so I'm not sure what they look like. Are they different than, say, a PC power cord? If you can provide a photo, I may be able to source one from one of the many electronics suppliers I deal with.

Not alot different from a PC cord. On the lower front grill of the LS is a male plug that is propriatery and looks like a male 3 prong plug with horizontal type pins. Not the usual 3 pins that are round. The power cord for this that comes with the LS is about 6' long and has the female plug for the lower grill plug in and a standard extension cord on the other end. Ford says the part number is XW4Z-6B018-FA. Can't confirm this however.

Thanks for checking

So would it be like figure M on this page (http://www.mouser.com/catalog/catalogUSD/639/1102.pdf)?

Just a suggestion; other have found the plug in cord hidden under the spare tire, worth a quick look.

That's looking like it. I have attached a picture of the actual plugin.

Even just with the proper plugin I can make the rest and not have to trash
the OEM part attached to the car.

Wondering about how you can tell the overal size for fitting from the good info you sent.

Thanks ShoRod

Thanks for the suggestion gcwimmer as I saw many posts where people can't find the cord.

Looks like you probably need the IEC320-C19 form. I'm not having much luck finding dimensioned drawings for IEC320-C19 though.
