Regardless of cost, what's the best deal if you want a car in 2009? Taking into account value, efficiency, performance, versatility, reliability, style, comfort and good ol' fashioned seat-of-the-pants fun.
I'd say a Mercedes-Benz GLK350. 4WD, price point comparable to entry-lux cars, tons of versatility, small enough to park but big enough to carry 5 passengers, powerful but not a guzzler, safe, luxurious and stylish.
What's the best deal going out there?

yea all mercedes are nice if you can afford them, theres a couple on my top list,
-Infinity FX35 and FX50, Infinity has basicaly mastered auto pilot in this SUV
- As much as I disslike Ford, the 2010 Ford Taurus, I don't know of anyone that has ever driven one but they sound really nice.
- the new Dodge Ram 1500, if you get it with all the right options its the best truck in the world. you gotta know who your buying from and whats in the truck your buying.

The two best deals I've found of late are:
1. A Saturn Aura with the V6 - plently of power, excellent fuel economy, well built, reliable, and hard to beat at its price point.
2. A Certified Select Edition pre-owned Jaguar S-Type 4.2 VDP - built like a tank, V8 power, loaded with options, luxurious, good fuel economy - basically a muscle car in a tuxedo. Best of all, the first owner took the big depreciation hit.
