Hey everybody! Tamiya gold over black, SMS carbon fiber on hood and spoilers. Fabricated a rollbar, added seatbelts, and lowered it for that "right" stance. C&c always welcome!

did u clear coat it? I was reading the can and it says not to use clear coat on it........can u tell me the steps you took? I've got two Top Secret models waiting to be made....thanks.

Hey lingering, thanks for looking at my thread! I did NOT use clear coat on this car. I used Future floor wax to give it some gloss. It only took about three coats before it brought up a decent shine. Hope this helps!

Other than the wheels not being gold like the original Top Secret D1 Silvia, this is an outstanding build.

That looks excellent! You did ask for c&c, so I'll just say the only thing I find less than stellar is the rough edges on the window trim - master that and you will be cranking out some real stunners. Well done.
