Fuel Pressure Gauge for TBI

Since I just told a bunch of people to check fuel pressure on their metros, and it took me a little while to fashion a tool to do so myself back in the day, I decided to post a picture of the apparatus I used when I worked on metros.

This is just your run of the mill Actron unit (that I acquired from Sears) modified with a T-fitting and a couple hose clamps to work in-line with our TBI systems.

Hey Matt! Looks like this gauge setup required you to remove/cutoff the schrader valve connector on the end of the hose, then modify the setup with the T-Fitting, hoses and clamps..........Correct? A simple but effective setup for checking FP for the Metro Matt......Nice!

I bought one from Harbor Freight for under $10 a few months ago when I was having problems with the injector.

You are precisely right.

Beware - the inside diameter of the hose is very small, and requires a little material to be removed before you can get it around the nipple on the t-fitting.
