hi
i have replaced both front wheel hubs about 6 months ago when i had wheel bearing problems. now the abs/tracklock light has come back on.
Does anybody know how to retrive the abs codes without a scanner and the definations of the codes as i hate going to the shop and paying $100 bucks for someone to plug in a scanner for two minutes to tell me which wheel sensor is bad.
any help would be great
Cheers paul :screwy:

You'll need a scan tool. If you swing buy sears you can buy your own OBDII/abs capable tool for a couple hundred bucks.

Wire connectors to the hubs are a common cause of those lights, as well as bad hubs. Look at the connectors at the hubs, and trace the wires back. Pay attention to anywhere they flex with suspension travel or steering. Remember to check the rears also, although wire problems are much more common on the fronts.
