1991 eclipse in limp mode

I have a 1991 eclipse 1.8 automatic transmission. Took battery off car now it is stuck in limp mode. I am planning to replace tcu. But i found 2 sensors on top of trans. 1 is right under the battery tray. 2 is closer to engine and are both tied to the same harness. Does anyone know what these sensors are? Thanks

Well, as i don't know exactly what your looking at. I would assume that 1 of them is for the reverse sensor (to turn your reverse lights on). and for the other im not quite sure of, I'm know the speedometer is cable driven no wires involved. It may be the sensor for your main line pressure sensor. I'm not 100% sure how the 1.8L trans is set up. Get a Haynes manual from advance auto or Auto Zone. It should tell you there. Or just call a Mitsubishi dealer with your VIN# and ask them.
