p0441 code how do i fix this

2003 5.7 hemi code p0441 evap cntrl system purge flow fault . Im not up with dodges but i work on lots of cars and truck what are some of the possible trouble to cause this issue:runaround:thanks for your help

You might check to see if your purge solenoid is working properly. if you can take a scanner and see if you can command the solenoid to on or off, if i remember right you should be able to hear it click if its working. make sure the truck is off or you won't be able to hear it click. no guarantee though if you don't hear it click you could take it somewhere and have them run a smoke test on it, if its purging the way it should smoke should come out.

You can check under the truck right in front of the gas tank there is a sensor that looks kinda like the Enterprise from StarTrek. That is the purge solenoid, they go bad quite often if there are a lot of miles on the vehicle. Also the rubber hoses going to and from the solenoid get dry and crack, if any are cracked replace em.
