Hello I have two questions. The first is when I try to start the car it sometimes starts just fine and then sometimes I have to give it gas to make it start and then when you accelerate from the stop it is sluggish until you put your foot into the gas a little more and then it runs great.
The other question that I have is why does the heater/ac fan only work on 5 not any of the others. Are any of these hard to fix? I am not good at any of this so could you spell it out because I am not good at the jargon. Thank you in advance.

welcome to AF
The blower speed issue is very common . You need a new blower motor resistor.
Try unplugging the MAF sensor and then start the car. If it runs better with the MAF unplugged after a short adjustment period, you need a new one. If unplugging the MAF doesn't change anything, you need to get a fuel pressure guage and check fuel pressure, as you may have a fuel pump getting weak.

MAF= Mass Air Flow sensor
Here's a link to our tips and maintenance subforum, and a pic of where the MAF is located.

Something to look at as well would be the fuel filter. If you frequently run your tank down near empty, you're picking up junk from the tank bottom and it plugs up the filter. I had a similar issue and the filter change cured it. Got to do it again here before winter sets in. Its overdue and starting to show those symptoms again. Good Luck.

What is the procedure or process in changing the fuel filter because I am experiencing the same problems with my 00' GP SE v6 126+KM
