Hi,

Anyone have ideas where to start troubleshooting electric on a 1988 88? Worked fine yesterday and today won't crank, no interior lights, nothing electric at all. Charger says the battery is fine. Please help. Thank you!!

Check the grounds and battery cables, they tend to corrode internally near the terminals.

I had an 88 Delta 88 that had that issue. The car was good for 1 alternator a year. I was able to swap them out in about 10 minutes before I sold the car. The battery always reported as good, and even when trying to jump - nothing. I never really looked to see why the alternator was always dying. Since they were always under warranty I only ever paid for 1. I must have had 5 or so replaced in the 5 years I had the car. In that time I put 107k on the car with no other issues.

I would say check the alternator because with a good battery I would have the same results, no nothing. No interior lights or idiot lights on the dashboard. Was not even able to honk the honk.

Regards,
