Looks good. What clear did you use? I heard the chrome dulls after clearing but yours looks fine.

Nice build, despite the problems. Glad that Tamiya has given up on the diecast chassis's now, they never fit properly & making them heavy is a werid feeling, ive almost dropped them when ive been cleaning my models. Pick up a normal one then go to pick up one with the diecast chassis & you just forget how heavy it is & slip, crash, bang .... %$#@!!!!!
Cool build!!

It looks great to me Joe. I have the Open Interface and am amazed at how "cheap" the chassis feels. Hopefully, I will miss some of the problems this kit seems to have. I want to build this Mobil version to go along with my Mobil NSX some day.

I built the open interface and was very dissapointed on the lack of detail inside and out. And the chassis really ruins the whole model.

BTW your build came out clean, I would add some really light grey panel lines and a wash on the wheels before you put it on display.
