1995 Cavalier Ignition Problems

I have a 1995 Chevy Cavalier. One day while driving it broke down outta the blue. I let it cool down for 15 min and it started back up. It was running like complete crap, you could just tell 1 cylinder wasnt firing. I got it home and found 1 fuel injector on no. 4 cylider was leaking gas into the cylinder. We replaced the faulty injector and the car was still running on 3 cylinders. I shut the car off and when i restarted it, it was running on 2 cylinders. Cylinders #1 and #4 was receiving no spark. We replaced the coil pack(which we had old one tested and they said it was faulty) and still no spark what-so-ever on #1 and #4. I would really appreciate any help in this situation. Thanks

If that's got the 2.4 in it, I'd just about guarantee you've got a bad ignition module. Very common on every engine that has it located on the top where all the heat goes. Check the plug gap, too large of a gap will damage the coil which can damage the ignition module.

sorry it has the 2.2l in it(my head thinks faster than my fingers). But i found what it was. It was the ignition module. I got it checked 2x and they said it was fine both times. After checking the PCM circuits that dealt with the ignition it was the ignition module. Changed that now it runs like it did before all 4 cylinders.
