Soldering a Blower Motor Resistor?

My Low blower functions quit working, but
High still works.
I really don't feel like paying $40 for a
new blower motor resistor, 'cuz I'm a
cheapo lol.
I'm wondering if there's a way I can just
solder a new resistor/fuse to my old resistor
board itself?
If so, what size/part # resistors do I need?
Could I get them at my local radio shack?
Thanks

Why waste you time and efforts. You can get an aftermarket BMR at places like Autozone or O-Reilly's for around $20.00 which is less than the stealership.

Yeah, you're right.
I'm just being a penny pincher right now.
The circuit board is all charred anyway.
I found one at Advanced for like $28.
Thanks for the feedback though.
