2000 chevy blazer uhg

I have a 2000 blazer 4.3 vortec it idle's greart but you step on the gass and it wants to stall let off and it will sit there and idel fine you rev up to abt 2500 rpm and it sounds like it chocking out i had it to autozone the tested it and saiod it was the mass air meter replace it d/c the battery the check engine light went out but still will not run correct. any idea's please help.

Update i can take oxygen sensor out it runs fire but as soon as i put it back in it want to stall also I purchased a obd2 code reader and it is saying tps,and map sensor.Also with the o2 sensor out there are chunks of black glass like stuff blowing out of the hole could the cat converter be pluged?

Have you checked/replaced the fuel filter? Have you checked fuel pressure? Key on, engine off, fuel pump running, pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and must remain above 55psi for 3 to 5 minutes after the pump shuts off.

I am going to try the fuel filter again also the o2 sensor like its getting to much air or fuel not sure yet.

Looks like you may have clogged cat!? Usually when you take out 02 at or before cat then eng can exhaust again showing clog thats usually cat. but you may need other parts after you replace cat . those parts could have clogged cat because of poor eng effiency. like backfiring , running lean etc.
