I have a 99 gtp w togs, zzp pcm, 180 t-stat, wizaired intake, autolite 104s, borla catback and a 3.5" pulley. I finally scanned it there was 2.4*KR or less at WOT only no other times. Is this a big concern? How can i get rid of it? I would like put a 3.4" eventually

does the catback system have the Ubend delete? if not that might help a little. as far as being concerned about a little over 2* at WOT i wouldnt be too concerned. i would only assume your smart enough to run at least 91 octane...

It has the u bend delete and i run 93. I tried scanning again today at first there was no KR then a little while later it got up to 4.3 while going WOT on the highway. It was about 10* cooler outside the first trial today. When I tried the other day it was over 90* outside. Could that have anything to do with it?

usually with the cooler weather you would have less KR. sounds like when you get up to running temp the KR readings start. headers would help alot and would be a good investment if your thinking of going with a 3.4 eventually. 4.3* is getting up there. wait and see what Bob and them guys say. I'm not too sure on this one.

Get a tuner and do some custom tuning. I used to have a 3.5", DHP 1.0 PCM, 2.5" downpipe, 180 stat, and colder plugs. With that setup on premium gas I had 4-5 degress of KR at WOT.
I have since bought a powertuner, changed to a 1.5 Bin, did some custom tuning, and dropped to a 3.4" pulley. Last time I scanned the most KR I had was .5 degrees burst KR at WOT.

I dont know how to tune i would like to learn. Anyone know if i can get it tuned somewhere i live near Chicago. If i throw the stock pulley back on will it be ok with the autolites gapped at .055?

The ZZP v1.0 PCM module is supposed to limit or reduce WOT KR but sometimes you have to go a little richer so powertuning or custom programming may be the only way to go. Also, make sure you have sufficient fuel pressure. I installed a Casper fuel pressure regulator several years ago and it took care of WOT KR running a DHP v1.0 PCM back then. Also, you could go to a bigger throttle body (72mm) and spacer between the throttle body and supercharger. Intake mods help reduce KR too. It all adds up.

DHP Powrtuners are no longer available to purchase. You have to keep you eye open for used ones on sites I shall not mention here. Problem is they still hold their value relatively well since they are still being used and are no longer manufactured. I bought mine used a few months back for 275 shipped to my door. Then I had to order a serial cable from ebay which was like 5 bucks shipped. I like the powertuner because I can tune with it and also it doubles as a full function OBD2 scan tool.

Thats because they were too cumbersome to use, etc. and archaic. The latest rage and best is HP Tuners for those that like to tinker. See link.
The used ones (DHP Powertuner) on the market are people getting rid of them.

For my GXP I'm looking at either Predator or Superchips tuner.

Spendy stuff Bob. The main reason I went with a powertuner is because recently they have been "unlocked" to tune all GM FWD V6 vehicles. Not just the two initially that the tuners were unlocked to tune. I just didn't like the idea of an HP tuner "credit" and then once you run out of credits you can't tune anymore. Unless I mis-understood.

Until I get it tuned I should put the 3.8" back on? also, will that be ok with autolite 104s? Thanks

you should be OK with 2.5 degrees of KR for the time being. Just make sure you keep it filled with premium 91 octane or better.
