I ended up buying the Grand Am for cheap. It's by my place right now and will tow it to my parents by this weekend and start tearing it down to see what the problem is. Definitely need a new bumper, but besides that the outside is in pretty good shape.

I have always liked grand ams. Is there something wrong with it? You know the GM 3-series engines are notorious for blown intake/head gaskets. Lol, i hope the car isnt overheating. I sell parts everyday, and there isnt a day that I dont either sell a gasket for one of these cars, or am asked about them.

Will be 100% stock. I MAY add a Cold Air Intake for a little better gas mileage, but that would be it. I'm just cleaning it up, making it look nice, and getting it back on the road.
Don't know about the Avenger. I didn't even notice it until I was uploading the pic. It was someone eating at the Chineese Restraunt.
The head gasket is already blown. At least that's what my buddies mechanic said. Basically, it won't start. Tried really hard, but the mechanic said there's no compression. I don't have a tester yet so I don't know. But car is going to the shop and I start the tear down to figure out what's wrong. Also need a new O2 sensor.
VG, do you guys sell the full gasket sets? I can't find one cheap. And the head bolts?

Yeah we sell felpro brand gaskets. You can buy the Full Head Gasket Set, that comes with every seal and gasket for the top end, alot more stuff than you'll probably need, lol. Im not sure of a price right off though. We can get the head bolts also.
